Join us on Saturday, July 18th at 11:00 AM for a socially distant beginner Bonsai Workshop with San Francisco Bonsai artist Byron Nobriga. Explore planting and trimming techniques and learn some of the amazing history behind this ancient art. Take home your own bonsai tree to enjoy for years to come!

Byron Nobriga has been learning and practicing the art of Bonsai since before the age of twenty, and spent the following decades refining his knowledge and transforming his passion from a backyard hobby into a dedicated practice, studying under nurseryman and Bonsai master and sensei Kunitoshi Akabane, participating in demonstrations and shows to the public. This is Byron’s second year teaching this workshop and we are so lucky he has come back to share his knowledge with us here at Los Osos Valley Nursery!

We are requesting that participants wear masks or face coverings. We will provide shaded seating, but if you have a fold-up lawn or camping chair it would be helpful to bring it. This is a longer workshop so bringing hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, water to drink, and dressing in layers is advisable.

$35.00 per attendee
