Calling all Bonsai Lovers!
Join our in-house Bonsai enthusiast, Matt Wernet, on Saturday, July 17th for our upcoming Bonsai Workshop! The workshop will begin at 11:00 AM.
Matt has been cultivating bonsai for over 6 years now, after originally being inspired by the Live Oaks of California. Ever since he saw them for the first time he wanted to take one home and put it in a pot. His favorite Bonsai style is the less traditional North American style, which focuses more on styling trees like their natural form, and on less traditional tree species. Matt is mostly self-taught but draws inspiration from Dan Robinson (Elandan Gardens) and Ryan Niel (Bonsai Mirai).
The cost is $45 per person and includes a Bonsai tree, Bonsai pot, and soil. Attendees will receive a 20% discount on all Bonsai-related purchases.
